Mollys

Our comfort beer, a 4% amber ale made with three different barleys and a mixture of traditional English hops alongside an American cousin, this beer has strong starting flavours of caramel and biscuit followed by a delicate touch of orange citrus and spice.

OG

Much loved by all, our staple beer OG is named after our local boozer The Plum Pudding’s furry friend. A light aroma of tropical fruits and cut grass with lovely citrus, tangerine and rose flavours.

Mild Rover

Bringing back a historic beer style that not so long ago was nearly extinct, our dark mild has five different barely malts, including a Carafa special mix, which give deep but easily quaffable caramel, toffee and coffee notes. A perfect beer for those long winter nights next to a pub fire, if we say so ourselves.

Bonnie Hops

Introducing our award-winning super-hoppy American Pale Ale. Pale malted barley and four “big dog” hops from the States combine to bring out bold citrus and floral flavours to make your taste buds tingle. Named after owner Jim’s English Springer Spaniel Bonnie, this APA goes great with curry and spicy food!

Hair Of The Doug

New World hops, molasses and fresh ginger combine to make a smooth and more-ish golden pale ale with a complex flavour profile. Clocks in at 5.1% with notes of orange, pear-drops, ginger and caramel, but don't just take our word for it, this is an award-winning beer!

Your taste buds won’t believe your eyes with this black IPA. Deceptively light to drink, with heaps of full and refreshing late hops and just a dash of darker malt to add a complex taste and contradictory dark colour.

Purdy Peculiar

Made with a rich medley of malts, including Crystal, Chocolate and Rauch, for a lovely smoky flavour dark colour, almost as dark as the Cocker Spaniel it gets its name from. Black treacle and molasses give a sweet kick to this award-winning ale. To be sipped and cherished as the nights draw in.

Monty's Jem

The strongest beer currently in our range at 5.6%, this English Pale Ale breaks from tradition by using English base hops but New World late hops for lovely smooth finish with hints of orange and barley sugar. Named after two canine siblings Monty and Jem, both now sadly not with us.

Skyfall

This handcrafted golden ale is our first using solely British grown hops. British roasted malt combines with the superb Harlequin hop for a deliciously floral and tropical golden ale, perfect for summer evenings or winter days.

Not On Your Nelly

Session IPA at an easy-drinking 4%, named after the brewery’s youngest and most spritely cocker spaniel Nelly, this brew packs a balanced but citrusy punch with orange and grapefruit notes, courtesy of vibrant American hops, with a malty undertone.

Spotted Dog

Another fully British hopped golden ale, made using experimental hops from the thriving UK hop scene. Named after our beloved English Springer Spaniel Betty, it has a malty base with notes of mango and passionfruit.

Barney Snuggles

A golden ale originally brewed for a wedding and adorned with a purr-fect twist, the only one of our beers to feature a feline friend in its branding. This autumnal ale uses New World hops for a light, fresh and very drinkable beer.

Schwarzbier

A dark but very drinkable winter ale with a dollop of caramel sweetness and a smooth bitter finish

Wibbly Wobbly Whippet

This is a white label brew we do for our good friends over at The Fleur de Lys in East Hagbourne, named after their much loved pub Whippet Floyd. You can also find it in their sister pub The Mulberry in Didcot!

Rex

Our hoppiest brew, a 4.1% hazy extra pale ale, originally brewed for the coronation of King Charles. A beer made for long afternoons in the beer garden in the summer, with strong grapefuit notes at a quaffable 4.1%

Wookie

A special beer brewed for our May the Fourth Beer Festival in 2024, this brew was made with experimental hops that gave a strong citrus aroma and tropical fruit flavour. Hopefully these hops are grown again and we can reintroduce this to our beer rotation!

Spinning Spaniel

This 4.3% Red IPA is named after Eva, a golden Cocker Spaniel, who walks exclusively in circles. Brewed with heaps of Crystal malt for a lovely red colour and packed with a dizzying amount of Nectaron hops to give a lovely hop bitterness on the end notes.
